These are examples (4 from each class) of spontaneous artwork that was produced by over 400 students, K through 8, at the end of classes which introduced the detailed artwork of Andrew Wyeth, Julie Taymor (Director/Designer of the Broadway stage production of "Lion King"), George Seurat and others.

Each student was asked to do his or her own detailed work using a black gel pen on ten 1 1/2" squares.

Gesu Elementary School students produced these outstanding, disciplined, original designs which sho great understanding of their own uniqueness and powers of concentration and creativity.
