Art Aware serves inner city students by introducing them to world culture through art, helping them to interact with civilizations from ancient to modern, empowering them to see the life giving force of art, each in his or her own way.

The Art Aware Program reaches out to inner city youth through:
  1. Interactive art appreciation classes.
  2. Lessons reinforced by the production and display of large class murals by the students.
  3. Visiting artist demonstrations.
  4. Trips to art museums.
  5. The production of Peace Calendars and Posters of children's artwork.
